The Canadian Cancer Society’ Gala des Grands Chefs in Sherbrooke

A prestigious culinary evening to help save more lives!

On November 9th, 2017, culinary inspiration and imagination will be at work at the Delta Hotel in Sherbrooke. Organized by the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS), the twenty-third Gala des Grands Chefs de l’Estrie in Sherbrooke is a unique gourmet dinner dedicated to the business community. Through the creativity of the chefs, who are supported by an army of highly motivated volunteers, this dinner has in store unmatched gastronomic delights to tantalize guests’ palates and promises to be a grand visual and gastronomic experience!

Presented by Immex Société Immobilière, the event, which will bring together some 300 members of the region’s business community, is expected to raise more than $ 70,000.

The brigade of renowned chefs and the team at the Canadian Cancer Society are delighted to concoct a gastronomical experience of high caliber.  Since its beginnings in 1995, the Gala des Grands Chefs de l’Estrie has raised 1 350 000 dollars to fight cancer and to save more lives.

The Gala des Grands Chefs de l’Estrie returns this year to present an innovative concept and a new brigade! For the occasion, guests will witness the work of eight chefs first hand, as the latter will craft their creations from their respective culinary stations directly located among the dining tables in the Delta Hotel. Guests will retrieve their plates from these stations, according to pre-established menu.   From their tables, each guest will experience a unique gastronomical delight while engaging with the chefs.  A six-service meal will be prepared by ten chefs, eight of which will have their stations, while one will mix cocktails and offer wine and meal pairings and the other will be responsible for sweet endings.  This one-of-a-kind culinary voyage will be  prepared by:

  • Dominique Tremblay Bistro DT and Café Massawippi
  • Daniel Charbonneau l’Empreinte – cuisine soignée
  • Charles-Emmanuel Parizeau O Chevreuil
  • Stéphane Lo Ré Restaurant LoRé
  • Suzy Rainville Baumann Smokehouse
